White Sage Smudge: The most commonly used smudge is California White Sage because it burns evenly and consistently and is said to have the best results in spiritually cleansing a space. Light the end of the smudge stick with a lighter, candle, or matches then blow on until fire is extinguished. It will then begin to smoke and smolder. Hold over a firesafe dish and carrying through the house.

Yerba Santa Smudge: Yerba Santa is known as a holy herb. It is traditionally used for protection and setting boundaries. How To Use:

Light a stick by holding it at an angle, pointing down toward the flame.

Allow it to burn for about 30 seconds before blowing it out. Move about your space to clear energy & place on something fire safe when finished.
